Council update

Intro from Sue Haswell, co-founder of DADS:

I have to admit that when this whole supermarket issue first kicked off, I was highly suspicious of Teignbridge District Council.  I was convinced there was something they were not telling us. However as time has gone on, and we've maintained a dialogue with Cllr Alan Connett, TDC Leader, and others, I can say that I am a lot more confident that we, as a resident group, are being listened to fully, and that we need to work WITH, not against Teignbridge, who assure us that they have no plans to sell or lease Sandy Lane, or the football pitch to Tesco's or any other retailer.   Whilst it's up to everyone to make their own mind up, DADS felt it would be useful to give Teignbridge a voice on our website.
